Fatim-Zahra Ammor, Morocco’s Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts, and Social and Solidarity Economy, shared these figures during UN Tourism Secretary-General Zurab Pololikashvili’s official visit to the country. UN Tourism continues to deepen its collaboration with Morocco, recognizing the nation as a key partner in fostering tourism innovation and attracting investment in Africa’s tourism industry. Pololikashvili praised Morocco’s success in expanding its tourism sector, emphasizing its role in driving economic diversification and sustainable growth.
